Graphic Process
This site, designed around Vermeer’s work, plays on a deliberate contrast between the classical and the contemporary. To highlight the paintings of the Dutch master, I chose a modern and bold art direction, supported by a strong, graphic typeface that contrasts with the softness of his canvases. The background music, The Flower Duet, reinforces this contemplative and immersive atmosphere, creating a sensitive mood that accompanies the navigation. The overall design remains clean in structure yet expressive in detail, aiming to showcase each piece while asserting a strong and distinctive visual identity.
